Professor Marc Cashin
Professor Cashin has worked in the industry for several years before becoming an academic. Marc served in senior executive positions in some of the world’s largest technology companies and have been responsible for running projects in the hundreds of millions of euros. Marc brings a unique perspective to business education, being passionate about work-based learning and the benefits of combining practical business knowledge and academic knowledge uniquely targeted at executive education needs. Marc has worked tirelessly to build a bridge between the practical business and the benefits of academic study and founded the highly successful InnovAIT – Entrepreneurship Academy. His has in-depth experience in Finance, Technical Development, Programme & Project Management, Business Development and Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. He has considerable experience in Strategic Knowledge Management and Learning & Development supporting organisational change and growth through professional development. Marc also lectures on a number of 3rd level programmes including Business Economics, Operations & Supply Chain Management and Knowledge
Management of Executive MBA Programmes. He has over 15 years of academic experience at an undergraduate and post-graduate level including doctoral supervision and has sat on a number of review panels for DProf and DBA candidates.
